Psychological Counseling Unit / Faculty of Medicine, University of Kerbala, has organized a training course entitled (Personality Psychology: Systemic Introduction) , with the participation of a number of members of Faculty of Medicine and students and employees of Department of Health and Education.
Director of the Psychological Counseling Unit, Prof. Ali Tariq Abdel Hassan says during the course, four famous theoretical positions in psychology that explain personality were discussed: analytical theory, cognitive-behavioral theory, trait theory and phenomenological theory (humanity).”
He adds that the objective of the course is identifying the nature of personality and conditions for its proper growth and what hinders that, and the role of the personality in determining the style of learning, life and transactions, as well as style of each participant and the importance of this in achieving healthy and fruitful relationships.
The course includes specialized scientific curriculum, as this course was designed according to the principles of andragogy and thus gives centrality to the learner and information he needs to solve his daily and professional problems, and material presented is a translation of the goals, meaning that they are the same as the titles of the lectures.
