University of Kerbala
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Basim Khalil Nile, President of University of Kerbala, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Wefaq Jabouri Al-Bazi, Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit of Graduates, in cooperation with Syndicate of Veterinarians, Karbala Branch, has organized a workshop entitled (Principles for Ethical Professional Practice). It has been attended by Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs Prof. Dr. Najm Abdul-Hussein, and has been presented by Asst. Prof Dr. Muhammad Asaad Saleh, the faculty member and head of the Syndicate of Veterinarians, Karbala branch.
The workshop aims at introducing most important ethical standards and laws of practicing the profession of veterinary medicine to newly graduated veterinarians.
The workshop includes a general presentation of the ethical standards to be dealt with by veterinarians, as well as a detailed explanation of laws regulating the work of veterinarians in the government and private sectors.
