Faculty of Administration and Economics / University of Kerbala has organized a workshop which is entitled “Women’s Right to a Life Free of Violence”, in which Asst. Prof. Dr. Doreen Benjamin Hermuz has delivered it, in the presence of women’s cadres of the faculty.
The workshop, which is held under the slogan (Women’s Right to a Life Free of Violence), aims at reducing underage marriage, encouraging schooling and help women become self-reliant by finding a source of income to support them.
The workshop includes working to increase the percentage of women leaders in Ministry of Higher Education by activating women’s competence, obtaining international and local support (especially in Iraq), encouraging women to work and search for a suitable to her social status.
