Continuing Education Department / Faculty of Medicine University of Kerbala has organized the ninth training course of teaching methods for medical group, with participation of researchers and specialists from faculty of Medicine.
The course aims at acquainting lecturers with modern teaching methods and techniques used in managing educational process, in a way that contributes to development of teaching and health cadres who hold graduate degrees on the use of modern methods of learning, which helps students to understand the materials.
The course also deals with scientific topics including integrative medical education and relationship between health and education, learning theories and intellectual transformation, according to modern curricula, in a manner that enhances the ability of lecturers to serve the educational process, that is based on advanced international standards .
Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Reda Abu Taheen, Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs of Information department says that the course includes a number of scientific lectures on discussing seminars with participants – theoretical and practical training – developing participants’ information and skills in field of education principles in the twenty-first century – Clinical training – education in large and small groups – methods of application and theoretical and practical exams – communication skills – learning theories, psychological construction and psychological preparation of the student.
