University of Karbala has received an overall rating of three stars in (QS) classification of international universities, ((QS University Stars Ratings of 2024).
Evaluation criteria includes university’s performance of multiple aspects, including education standard, which deals with learning methods and reflects quality of education enjoyed by the university, and is reflected positively on its outcomes.
The evaluation also includes employment standard, which shows employment rate of university graduates in first years of their graduation, and evaluation addressed scientific research standard, which is concerned with the university’s research output in solid international scientific fields.
The evaluation deals with international standard represented by the university attracting foreign students, in addition to standard of facilities and services provided by the university in general.
The evaluation also addresses standards of social responsibility and comprehensiveness, and finally specialization standard, which concerns specialized academic programs.
The importance of the university gets this international classification lies in enhancing its international reputation, in addition to be one of the most important reasons for academic development and creating partnerships with reputable international educational institutions.
