University of Kerbala
Faculty of Dentistry / University of Kerbala, in cooperation with Directorate of National Security in Karbala, has organized an awareness symposium on electronic extortion, in presence of vice Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Ayiad Hammed Al Musawi and a number of spcialists.
The symposium aims at clarifying methods used by the weak-minded, and how to protect themselves from blackmailers, in cooperation with the community police.
The symposium includes introducing the concept of extortion, its types and target groups, as well as the damage suffered.
The participants recommend avoiding misuse of social networking sites and using and complex passwords, and informing the specialists to avoid this dangerous issue.
