University of Kerbala University Organizing a Symposium on Scourge of Drugs

Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences / University of Kerbala has organized an educational symposium which is entitled ( scourge of drugs and their effects on man physically, psychologically, worldly, spiritually and morally), in which is os delivered by Director of Department of Mental Health in Holy Karbala Health Department, Dr. Amer Al-Haidari, Dr. Ruqaya Kareem Muhammad, Dr. Adel Attia Ali and Dr. Ali Hamad.
The symposium includes three axes, the first deals with definition of drugs and their impact on society, types of drugs and the most prevalent ones, and how family knows that they have a drug addict. The third axis is an ethical lecture about addiction and its impact religiously , and the need for a person to adhere to the ultimate goal of his existence in life, which is establishing religion, preserving heavenly values ​​and morals, and distancing and fighting everything that causes distancing from it. Addiction to drugs is one of the most dangerous diseases that kill human beings, and make it a project to destroy society

The Dean of the College, Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashami, said during his interventions with the lecturers at the symposium that the issue of drugs has become one of the main problems that ravage society, especially the youth group, and everyone must join hands and cooperate in combating it.
