The Probability of Classifying and Placing Attackers In Terms of Some Coordination and Cognitive and Skill Abilities of U-17 Football Players

Abstract
The aim of the research is to identify the compatibility, cognitive, and skill abilities of attacking players in football under 17 years, and to identify the discriminatory implications of the compatibility, cognitive, and skill abilities of football under 17 years, and to identify the odds ratios for classifying and placing attackers in terms of some of the compatibility, cognitive, and skill abilities of football under 17 years. The researcher used the descriptive approach in the survey style (the current situation) and studies of mutual and predictive relationships. The research population also included attacking players in football under 17 years of age for clubs in Karbala Governorate, with a total of (188) players. The exploratory sample was (28) players, and the main sample was (52). Players constituted (28)% of the population. The researcher used a set of tests concerned with measuring coordination abilities, which are (motor organization, situational assessment, motor balance, motor response, motor linking). Use the SPSS statistical package to process the data and obtain the results of the study. The researcher reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that there are cases belonging to the group of attacking players who were incorrectly classified by the coaches and it turned out that the correct classification for them is that they are non-attacking players.
