China has realized that achieving its ambitions requires becoming a great naval power and it must From heading towards the ocean, which was a source of attacks on it in times of wars in the past because it has a large coast, and at the same time it overlooks important strategic seas such as the South and East China Seas and is close to strategic straits, but the obsession with insecurity remains dominant in Chinese strategic thought,
Therefore, several strategies were proposed, the most important of which is the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as strategies for defending the near and far coast to break the American cordon imposed on it through the first and second island chains, and the main problem of the study is as follows: What is the Chinese strategy in the Pacific Ocean? A set of hypotheses included in the main headings of the study chapters, which came in the following form:

In light of this, the study discussed the impact of the geography of the Pacific Ocean and its strategic areas in directing Chinese policy, and also discussed the historical geography of the international conflict on the Pacific Ocean, and the importance of the Pacific Ocean in geopolitical theories, and also discussed the Chinese maritime strategy represented by Chinese geography, the naval power of China and the stages of Chinese maritime expansion in addition to The objectives and advantages of the strategy, in addition to energy security and the importance of international straits, and the applications of the Chinese strategy represented in the pearl strategy and the Belt and Road Initiative, China’s strategy in Latin America and the Pacific islands was also discussed, targeting several political, economic and military dimensions. China’s problems in the Pacific were discussed, in addition to the countries’ positions on the Chinese strategy represented by the Indian, Japanese and Australian position. The implications of the Chinese strategy on the United States were also discussed, targeting several important points. Political, economic or security ones, in which the Pacific Ocean was the basis for this competition.
