The Poetic Image in the Poem of the International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival from 2005 to 2014 A.D.

Abstract

The image represents a mold that the poet pours his experience and emotions. The mold represents the poet himself that change and distinguish according to his talent and the experience that he live and still living; and this is what recognize the poetry than others, as well recognize the poet than others.
The favor of the acquired factors by the poet can’t be neglected as well practice in the language and possession its talent. Concerning the Husseini poet, his experiment was different from others’ when he combined the talent with the emotional motif especially the sadness for the injustice happened to the prophet’s progeny. Thus, we find that both sorrow and anxiety are present regardless of the opportunity; and situation and this is what recognized ” the International Cultural Martyrdom Spring ” which is held with optimism with the annual memory of the great Sha’ban births. Therefore, we tried to uncover the secret of this anxiety and this emotion by studying the image to them.
Thus, the current study which is entitled ” The Poetic Image in the Poem of the International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival from 2005 to 2014 A.D. ” was divided into a preface and three chapters. The preface displayed the term of image, defined the festival, and its aims and significance.
The first chapter discussed the elements of image formation in the poems of the International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival. These elements included: simile, metaphor, metonymy, allegory, sent, and similarity.
The second chapter was entitled ” types of image in the poems of the International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival. It tackled the compound image, the total image, and the concrete image.
The third chapter which is entitled ” functions of the image in the poems of the International Cultural Martyrdom Spring Festival has three sections. These are the psychological function, the social function, and the religious function. The study ended with a conclusion that contained the most important results. This was followed by an index about the poets who participated in the festival and a list of references and bibliographies that the study relied on.
