Rp-Cultural exchange between the Islamic Maghreb and Hejaz From 668-982 AH.pdf

Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of messengers, Muhammad, and his good and pure family.
The movement of the Islamic conquests absorbed many countries in the Islamic Maghreb and the Levant and became part of the one Islamic state. Scholars and students of knowledge throughout the Islamic cities, this is what is known as the trip, as it had lofty goals in Islam and its causes were numerous. Some of the scholars left in search of knowledge and those who wanted to perform the Hajj, and some of them were for trade or on official missions at the cost of their princes and scientific trips that took place. Scholars evacuated there in search of knowledge and knowledge, so they moved from one country to another and faced many difficulties and hardships, and they endured all of that, devoting themselves to knowledge.
Through this, there has been knowledge continuity and cultural exchange between the parts of the Islamic countries, and a gathering of many scholars of the Islamic Maghreb and its various cities came to the Hijaz, and they met with the famous sheikhs and their scholars and learned from them, and some of them settled in the Hijaz and some of them left to his country to spread what he gained of knowledge and knowledge there. Thanks to them, several books on mental and traditional sciences entered the country. Polarization centers in Hijaz also played an important role in attracting and embracing scholars, especially Makkah.
The extent of the cultural exchange between the Islamic Maghreb and the Hijaz was clearly evident to us, but we must emphasize that through research it becomes clear to us the extent of the Moroccans’ interest and eagerness to go to the Hijaz, as the balance is much more profitable, and this is a natural and moderate matter, as this region (the Hijaz) in view of Its religious status, which had a great impact on the hearts of Muslims.
The balance of cultural exchange between the Islamic Maghreb and the Hejaz has remained on the side of the Hijaz throughout Islamic history, including the period of study. It is not commensurate with the numbers of Moroccan scholars who went to the Hijaz.
Despite the importance of this cultural period, talking about this period of time culturally does not go beyond being a general review of the eras of culture in general, or that it comes as a continuation of a study that dealt with the political history of each of Morocco or the Hijaz and passes in passing and briefly with general culture.
The state’s supervision and encouragement of religious institutes in the two areas of study was particularly important. This led to the strong association of cultural activity with governance and its approach.
The strength of friction between Muslim men of knowledge within the period of the study, in a remarkable way, was due to many things; Some of them, for example, are jurists and religious scholars to spread their knowledge and ideas, or to acquire knowledge through trips. Some of them also collected novels, texts of poetry and prose, and they spread to many countries to collect their material. Some of them had their cities invaded or occupied, so they moved to other cultural centers. Travelers also had a distinguished and prominent role in introducing people to their countries, glorifying the journey for them, and this helped in strengthening cultural communication between the countries of Islamic countries.
It is noted that the scholars who had the important role of cultural exchange within the subject of the study, that most of them had an impact on the adoption of different sciences in other parts of the Islamic world, but their trip to the Hijaz was one of the important centers in which it was very necessary to be present, in view of what it represents of Religious and scientific significance.
It was the Moroccan scholars who migrated to the Hijaz and other Islamic cities and then returned to their countries, and in the meantime they conveyed to their countries an image of the Levantine society and their culture. The scholar Ibn Saeed was at the forefront of the Moroccan scholars in the middle of the seventh century AH.
The study of cultural exchange in all its aspects for any environment or society in the world can clearly reflect the extent of the renaissance of this environment or this society in the era that is subject to study between other societies and urban areas, as well as the study of the intellectual and cultural life of a city that shows the extent of civilizational and cultural progress that took place from By studying the intellectual productions of its men in the human and scientific sciences, and that our current study sheds light on the cultural exchange between the Islamic Maghreb and the Hijaz from 668-982 AH.
The thesis was divided into an introduction, a preface, four chapters, and a conclusion. In the preamble, we talked about several axes. The first axis talked about the borders of the Islamic Maghreb and Hijaz from 668-982 AH. As for the other axis, it included the development of the cities of the Islamic Maghrib and Hijaz, as it mentioned some of the facilities of the cities of the study, which include Palaces and guesthouses.
The first chapter dealt with the factors that contributed to the journey of the scholars of the Maghreb countries to the Hijaz and vice versa. It was divided into four topics: the first topic mentioned the religious factor, the second topic includes the intellectual factor, the third topic includes the social factor, and the fourth topic is the search for knowledge and the pursuit of knowledge. .
The study was in the second chapter on the impact of the cultural exchange of the scholars of the Islamic Maghreb and Hijaz and their educational system and was divided into three sections. The third is the educational system of the scholars of the Islamic Maghreb and Hijaz, which includes the stages of education, the ethics of education, as well as the methods and methods of education.
