The importance of the topic’ The Place and its References to Quraysh Poets until 132 Hijri’ sheds the light on the place to Quraysh poets since it exceeds Hijaz tribe in abundance of poets in order to stop at the verse stations that was said in some of their places in which they lived in. Therefore, the place in the poem was not a form or words expressed it, rather it is a reflection for the life that Arab man lived in general and the Quraysh person in specific as well as a response for variable of every era and its conditions.
The study adopted the analytical descriptive method basically inducting and analyzing the poetic lines. The study traced Quraysh origin, naming, Quraysh settlements, branches, as well revealed the sovereignty and religious place references, and the social relations. We also tackled ‘ place pattrens in Quraysh verse’ and the inclusion extent of the event and its influence in the personality role.
The study was divided into three sections due to its occurrence possibility ‘ the moral place, the open (absolute) place, and the closed ( limited) place. The study focused on the place symbolism that is divided into (symbolism of ruins, symbolism woman, and symbolism of animals). Then, the Quraysh poets’ stand towards the place was stated, which is classified into the shelter place, humanizing place, and strangeness and alienation) as well stating this effect on the poet’s spirit.
