The aim of the research is to identify the effect of the educational curriculum using the George Polya model in creative thinking and learn some basic skills in badminton for female students, as well as to identify the preference of the effect between the educational curriculum according to the George Polya model and the approach followed by the teacher in creative thinking and learn some basic skills in badminton for female students.
As for the research hypotheses, the researcher assumed that there is a positive effect of the educational curriculum according to the model of George Polya in creative thinking and learning some basic skills in badminton for female students between pre and post tests.
The researcher used the experimental approach by designing two equal groups with a pre and post test, due to its suitability to the nature of the problem and the achievement of the research objectives.
The research population was defined by female students of the second stage at the college of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, University of Kerbala, for the academic year 2022-2023, whose number is (59 students). (experimental, control) and each group includes (15) students.The training lasted for a period of 12 weeks, with one educational unit per week.
The most important conclusions reached by the researcher were that the use of the educational curriculum according to the model of George Polya has achieved a clear improvement in the development of creative thinking and basic skills in badminton for the students of the second stage. As for the most important recommendations that the researcher came out with, it is necessary to adopt George Polya ‘s model in the educational curricula
