The research aimed to classify and select football center players in U-19 according to the discriminatory significance of the most important anthropometric measurements, mental abilities, biomotor, and skill. As for the research hypotheses, it was the existence of a discriminatory function for the most important anthropometric measurements and mental, biomotor and skill abilities as a function of classifying and selecting football center players in U-19. The researcher used the descriptive approach using a survey style, modeling interrelationships, and discriminant analysis to suit the research requirements. The research population was limited to Karbala Governorate football club players under the age of 19, who numbered (192) players distributed among (10) clubs. The researcher used the statistical package (SPSS) and relative importance. As for the most important conclusions, there were independent variables represented by (perception of motor sense, shifting attention, explosive ability, motor flexibility, handling, suppression, total length, thigh circumference) which are variables that have a distinctive significance and a large effect size in classifying center players and players of other specialties. The most important recommendations were that coaches and specialists take into account the results obtained from the current study as an indicator for classifying players in other positions in football.
