College of Engineering / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled ” improving shear strength of environmentally friendly concrete beams”.
To be presented by Nour Diaa Abdul Latif, the study deals with principles of improving shear strength of environmentally friendly concrete beams by conducting tests on experimental models of this concrete.
The thesis recommends the necessity of using types of steel fibers in order to maximize strength of concrete containing percentages of (steel fiber) in order to strengthen shear area with carbon fiber strips.
