College of Agriculture, University of Kerbala launches a pioneering project to propagate Azolla, which is one of the most efficient natural alternatives livestock feed. Azolla is characterized by its high nutritional value, as it contains high levels of protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals, making it an ideal choice as a complete food for animals.
Acheving several benefits, the project includes reducing production costs, as farmers can save expenses by relying on Azolla as an alternative feed, in addition to improve quality of animal products by raising nutritional value of animals.
