Kerbala University Holding a Training Course on Chemical Safety in Laboratories

With the participation of a number of researchers and specialists, the Faculty of Medicine at Kerbala University has organized a training course on chemical safety in scientific laboratories.

     The course aims at training the participants on ways of preventing the risk of chemicals and the most important safety instructions to be followed in the laboratory and the mechanism for dealing with devices in the laboratory.  It also deals with methods of developing a chemical prevention plan and the most important personal protection requirements , ways of storing chemicals and destroying expired ones with an explanation of ways to deal with information extracted from the chemical leaflet, chemical poster and posters for fire protection.

    The course recommends that that laboratory personnel avoid exposure to hazardous chemicals and follows the general guidelines for students and laboratory personnel.
