A research team consisting of Dr. Muhammad Jawad Al-Jassani from Al-Karkh University for Science and Dr. Zahra Ali Ali Kamaz from the University of Kerbala are able to conduct a study on the SARS-coV-2 virus using Bioinformatics techniques where the team is able to find new effective vehicles in inhibiting correlation of the virus with receptors as well as inhibition of the entry of the virus into the cells and inhibition of the important protease in the grouping of the virus itself within the cells. This study is the first of its kind at the level of Iraq to find effective and safe therapeutic compounds without side effects. The research team confirms that it will continue to work to put these efforts into practice and in proportion to the requirements of international organizations.
