Dr. Mahdi Wahhab Nasrallah and researcher Bashar Khaled Ali from the Faculty of Administration and Economics at the University of Kerbala publish two papers in the Journal of Periodical Engineering and Natural Sciences and the Journal of Annals of Tropical Medicine and Public Health that are classified within Scopas containers.
The first research focuses on estimating the blurring reliability of the Frechet distribution using simulation “and worked on estimating the Frechet distribution parameters which are the shape parameter (α) and the scale parameter (β). Using two methods of estimation are the MLE and the Bayes method when life data are blur numbers vaguely. These parameters are then used to estimate the fuzzy reliability function of the distribution, and then determine the best estimate of the fuzzy reliability function by comparing the mean error squares (MSE) and the mean absolute relative error squares (MAPE).
The second research deals with the possibility of analyzing the risk of developing newborns with cancer using the compatibility tables k × 2 using various statistical methods. It aims at analyzing 2xk compatibility tables using three different statistical methods. These methods are compared to assess the relationship between risk factor and disease. These statistical methods measure the association between the numerical parameters of risk and disease in different ways. They are trained on a set of data on the risk of developing newborn cancer, regression and multinomial logistical analysis show similar results for a data set of children while fuzzy analysis gives a different result.
