University of Kerbala
Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences / University of Kerbala has organized a training course on (the uses of cellular lines in medical field) with the participation of a number of teaching staff.
The course aims at identifying cell lines, their types and the purpose of their use in various fields, especially medical field, and introducing the equipment and tools used, methods of using them, how to extract cells from the human body and their development in appropriate culture media. It also to studies their importance in testing drugs used in the treatment of various diseases.
The course, which lasted for three days, includes a theoretical explanation and practical side. It implies a study of the importance of cell lines in testing antiviral vaccines and treating cancerous diseases.
