The Faculty of Education for Pure Science at Kerbala University has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled” The properties of porous silicon from P-type and N-type silicon”.
It has been presented by Noor Muhammad Kadhim, supervised by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Hamida Idan Salman and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Khairallah Shaheed.
It aims at preparing borosilicon by photoelectrochemical (N) and chemical (P-type) skimming, study the properties of borosilicon and compare the two types through permittivity, layer thickness, relative permittivity, refractive index and electrical capacitance, and also study the effect of the borosilicon sample on the solar cell and find the resulting sample application.
It is concluded that that the phenomenon of photoelectrochemical (PEC) an appealing technology when compared to other techniques, as it takes less time to produce borosilicon because laser or light helps initiate contact between silicon and acid.
