A Kerbala University Lecturer Publishes a Book about Mycotoxins.

Dr. Sami Abdulridha AL-Jumaili, who is a lecturer in the College of Applied Medical Sciences, published a book about mycotoxins. The book discussed the consequences of mycotoxins on health and how these toxins can generate several diseases for humans as well as animals. Furthermore, the book explained the ways that we can employ to diagnose the toxins as well as the effects of such toxins on the biological system.

The book also discussed the influences of mycotoxins on the biochemical and physiological structures as well as blood tissues. In addition, the researcher explained how we can control the mycotoxins, the diseases that occur because of mycotoxins, modern techniques to treat mycotoxins, and the most popular mycotoxins with their diagnosis.

The book investigated more than 200 types of identified mycotoxins as well as 30 new types of mycotoxins that pollute food products. Furthermore, the book touched on the various types of mycotoxins that cause cancer.
