A Lecturer from Kerbala University prepares a new ionic liquid as an effective and recyclable catalyst

Dr. Haitham Dalloul Al-Shibli, a lecturer at Department of Chemistry, College of Science, and University of Kerbala has prepared a new ionic liquid as an effective and recyclable catalyst.
It has been published in the (Research on Chemical Intermediates) journal, which is classified within Scopus containers category Q2 with an impact factor of 2.262 which is entitled
(A green and simple method for the synthesis of 2,4,5-trisubstituted-1H-imidazole derivatives using acidic ionic liquid as an effective and recyclable catalyst under ultrasound)
This study is an effective contribution in the field of synthesis of 2,4,5-trisubstituted-1H-imidazole derivatives is the fact that it can be described as environmentally friendly, economical, short reaction time, possible recover of the catalyst, simple workup, safer and mild reaction conditions.
