A Representative of UNESCO praising the E-Learning Procedures and the Higher Education Response to urgent Educational Requirements

The representative of UNESCO in Iraq, Paolo Fontane, praises the e-learning procedures at Iraqi universities and the speedy response of the Ministry of Higher Education to the educational requirements in light of the circumstances of the global health crisis.
This has done during the joint electronic meeting that includes the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Nabeel Kadhim Abdel-Sahib, the representative of UNESCO in Iraq and the director of the Research and Development Department, Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, a number of representatives of the Ministry and universities, and some experts and employees of the International Organization office.
Paulo stresses that the organization is committed to supporting and implementing the education strategy in Iraq and supporting the development of e-learning and the integrated education project that the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education is preparing to put on the path of implementation in universities.
In turn, the Minister affirms that the Ministry is heading, in its plan, to joint work programs with international universities, pointing out that Iraqi academic institutions possess expertise in various scientific disciplines that would enhance partnership with UNESCO and provide training and cooperation climates.
