The researcher, Mithaq Manahi Al-Issa, from the Strategic Studies Centre – University of Kerbala has issued the book entitled (Iraqi Protests 2019-2020: Does it impose a horizon for a civil state)
The book raises questions about the future of Iraq in light of the growth of popular protest movements. The book deals with the issues of the protest movement and the interactions on it.
The book contains more than ten studies with the participation of researchers from various universities in Iraq. The studies vary in their reading of the issue of protest, with its aspects such as “political, social, economic … etc.)
The aim of the book lies in suggesting ways so as to put an end to the Iraqi protests crisis and limit the duplication or ambiguity that surrounds the nature of the state administration in Iraq.
