keeping pace with the latest developments in science, as well as discussing topics that affect the core of academic work in universities, the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Kerbala has organized an electronic scientific symposium entitled (Academic guidance in the digital age, a cautious vision for a new world). The lecture has been presented by the Assist. Lect. Ammar Fadel Jawad, and the consultant in educational psychology from the Family Guidance Center, Assist. Lect, Shahla Dawood Al-Dahesh.
The first lecture includes highlighting the concept of educational guidance in universities and its important role in solving students ’social problems and guiding them towards the right path and preparing them for success in their scientific and practical lives.
The symposium shows that the concept of academic guidance, its objectives, the foundations upon which the mentor relies on the guiding process and the mentor’s skills, in addition to explaining the advantages and disadvantages of guidance in the digital age, concluding its lecture with a set of proposals that develop the guiding process in the age of technology.
The seminar aims at self-development and sound psychological counseling among our students to facilitate the paths of success in front of their future.
