The student Ahmed Salem Dinar from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Kerbala has obtained an international certificate from the World Health Organization, after passing the course on the organization’s website regarding the infection of the Coronavirus and limiting its spread, which is entitled:
COVID-19: Operational Planning Guidelines and COVID-19 Partners Platform to support country preparedness and response.
The course includes three modules on the internet, the first includes the identification of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19), by presenting the characteristics of this virus and its ferocity, and the second model examines the level of state response and their willingness to this virus, through the correct scientific guidance and planning, and between the model. The third is about ways of reducing the risk of Coronavirus becoming a deadly global pandemic.
The course also includes the extent of the public health response to prevent the spread of the epidemic, especially health facilities and laboratories, and the possession of mechanisms for successful diagnosis, in addition to strengthening the commitment to health awareness among citizens by reporting, recording injuries, healing cases, and epidemiological follow-up of the virus with the help of health owners within countries and spreading a culture of prevention to limit its spread.
