Department of Arabic Language / Faculty of Education for Human Sciences/ University of Kerbala has discussed a PhD dissertation which is entitled (Iraqi criminal reality: a study in light of criminal linguistics).
The study aims at introducing new linguistic field, directing attention to it theoretically and procedurally, as well as shedding light on its features through Islamic heritage in its judicial context.
The study, presented by researcher, Amer Mahsoun Hadi, concludes that most of cases dealt with by international or Iraqi judiciary are due to their adaptation to criminal law, which is commensurate with global approach of this science by giving priority to criminal matters over others in this specialization.
