Faculty of Agriculture / University of Kerbala has organized a training course on (environmental termite spread and methods of combating it) with participation of professors, researchers and specialists of the faculty .
The course aims at introducing the community with danger of this insect on property and knowing methods and patterns of living of this insect.
The course deals with the best way to eliminate or immunize against its damage, as well as showing how to monitor and detect primary infections using modern technologies.
The course emphasizes the need of community members to have information about the land and its morphological characteristics in order to avoid its damage and combat it in an appropriate manner.
Dean of the Faculty o, Prof. Dr. Thamer Kareem Khudair, says that these courses are of great importance to educate the community and raise scientific and research level, and that this insect is one of the dangerous pests on public property. .
