American Journal of Structural Engineering has published a scientific research by Dr. Mustafa Muhammad Raheem / faculty of Engineering / University of Kerbal.
The paper which is entitled “Novel truss analogy approach to analyze reinforced concrete deep beams strengthened with externally bonded FRP systems” includes development of an applied and innovative structural model for analyzing deep concrete beams reinforced with fibers, where the model studies the nonlinear manner of deep beams and after comparing the output of the model with Practical and theoretical results show a good match between them.
The study is considered one of the first scientific studies that deals with this subject in accurate, comprehensive and simplified detail for the design and analysis of deep concrete beams reinforced with fiber fibers to resist bending, shear, or bending and shear together.
