Faculty of Education for Human Sciences at University of Kerbala Holding its 1st International Scientific Conference for Human and Educational Sciences.

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Al-Saedi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Education for Human Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hassan Habib Al-garaiti, the faculty has held its 1st International Conference under the slogan (Towards a renewed scientific and intellective programme). From inside and outside Iraq, a number of researchers and academics have contributed in it.
The aim of the conference is exchanging academic and scientific ideas and experiences in all fields of knowledge, activating the role of educational institutions to advance the scientific reality, determining the challenges facing progress and development, linking theory and practice in different fields, and raising the level of quality of scientific research in order to solve the problems of society.
The President of the University Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Al-Saedi says that the conference seeks to advance its scientific results through scientific research, exchange experiences and diversify them in a way that serves the scientific process in the country and the world in all fields. He also indicates that virtual conferences are one of the gates of scientific renewal and progress.
The Dean of the faculty, Prof. Dr. Hassan Habib Al- garaiti, states that the conference includes five axes which are (linguistic and literary studies, English linguistic and literary studies, educational and psychological studies, geographical studies and its modern technologies, and historical and cultural studies).

He adds that scientific research constitutes the cornerstone towards development and progress so as to keep pace with modern studies through contemporary research. Al- garaiti remarks that scientific cooperation is valuable in various human specialties. Actually it enhances openness and interaction with others. The accepted papers will be published in a special issue of AlBahith journal.
