Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences/ University of Kerbala has organized a scientific awareness symposium on drugs and the harms related to them from health and legal sides, under auspices of Dean of the faculty , and with participation of a number of faculty and students of the faculty .
Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Manati Sajit, Head of Theoretical Sciences Branch, says that the symposium comes within a series of activities of Theoretical Sciences Branch, in cooperation with Scientific Affairs Division of Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences.
The symposium, which is presented by Director of Media of Karbala Police Command, Col. Eng. Ihsan Al-Asadi, and Assistant Director of Narcotics Department at Police Command, Col. Hussein Jaaz, aims at educating students to stay away from this scourge that threatens society.
The participants in the symposium recommend the need to stay away from suspicious places and stay away from bad friends.
