The Faculty of Nursing at the University of Kerbala holds a workshop entitled (detailed information on the use of the global gene site ncbi to search for genes and the genetic tree and the design of primer) via electronic application in which the Assist. Lect. Zahra Ali Abdel-Sahib has presented the lecture.
The workshop aims at identifying the most important characteristics that the site provides to researchers specialized in genetics, including the characteristic of primer design and the feature of comparing the gene under study with the rest of the genes, as well as ways of using the global gene bank website ncbi, where the workshop deals with the topic of searching for the gene under study and downloading its sequences, and displaying the genetic map and the evolutionary tree for some genes, and the steps of registration of researchers on the site to download the private data.
The workshop recommends that researchers and specialists in studying genes benefit from the site because it contains huge scientific information that can be used in genetic techniques for scientific research.
