With the participation of a number of researchers and specialists, the College of Education for Pure Sciences at Kerbala University has hold a training course entitled isolating fungi from their places and developing and diagnosing them in the laboratory.
The course aims at exploring the presence of fungi everywhere and the possibility of isolating them from multiple places. It also sheds light on the way of dealing with them and growing them on appropriate food media and the process of diagnosing them traditionally and partially.
The course includes two axes, the first theoretical axis which focuses on isolation of fungi from their places and methods of their development and diagnosis, and the second practical axis discusses isolation of fungi from air, soil and plants and their development, then the means of diagnosing them. Precisely, it shows the types of fungi, their methods of reproduction, and the conditions that help their formation in environmental places
The course ends up with the recommendation which highlights the necessity of providing the possibility to isolate the fungi from every place, the presence of which may have damages and benefits, and avoid their damages and benefit from their merits.
