The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Kerbala University has hosted the Governorate Championship (Bench Press)
The Dean of the Faulty, Prof. Dr. Habib Ali Taher, says that this Championship aims at supporting the sports movement in the governorate, embracing young sports talents, and preparing them to participate in local and international tournaments, especially since this tournament is the first in the governorate to be established by the Union branch after its establishment.
The President of the Federation of Physical Strength in the province Lect. Ali Hassan Al-Saadi states that the tournament has been attended by more than 55 players from 12 sports clubs from all over the governorate.
Lect. Ali Hassan Al-Saadi appreciates the efforts made by the Deanship of the Faculty to support such important sports tournaments and activities that contribute effectively to revitalize the sports movement in the country and the governorate in particular.
