University of Kerbala
Kerbala University has participated in the scientific workshop, which has been held at Hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) at the al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine, and in cooperation with Al-Taff University College and the Ministerial Team for E-Learning from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The workshop entitled (the role of telecommunications and mobile phone companies in advancing the reality of e-learning in Iraq). Has been attended by representatives from ministries (higher education, education and communications), in addition to a number of university presidents, faculties deans, and specialists in the field of education.
Prof. Dr. Najm Abdul-Hussein Najm, vice President of Kerbala University for Scientific Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Hadi Al-Asadi, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, and a number of proofers from Kerbala University have also attended it.
The workshop discusses the importance of mobile phone networks in supporting e-learning, as well as the role of technological communications in developing the educational process.
