President of Kerbala University, Prof. Dr. Basim Khalil Nile, has received a delegation from University of Mosul, headed by Dean of Faculty of Science at University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Al-Tai, a number of faculty and a group of students from the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine _ Karbala Center for Studies and Research represented by Mr. Ali Al Farawi.
Prof. Dr. Basim Khalil Nile welcomes the delegation, stressing the importance of scientific communication between universities for exchanging ideas.
On the other hand, Dean of Faculty of Science at University of Mosul indicates that the visit aims at enhancing relations and joint scientific cooperation between the two universities and exchanging experiences in order to support University of Mosul.
Director of the Media and Public Relations Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Yahya Al-Taei, says that tascientific tour has been conducted to inform the delegation of the most important projects and initiatives implemented by the university, and visited a number of scientific departments at faculty of Education for Pure Sciences and faculty of Science, and visited the scientific laboratories of physics, chemistry and life sciences so as to know the most important scientific devices included in the university laboratories, and it has been agreed upon to set up a cooperative scientific forum at University of Mosul.
