President of University of Kerbala Attends Central Graduation Ceremony of Iraqi University Students and Emphasizes the Importance of Preserving Islamic Identity

Being organized by Holy Abbass Shrine, President of University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, attends activities of central graduation ceremony of female students (the tenth graduating of Banat Al-Kafeel). The ceremony includes a wide participation of Iraqi universities.

Pro. Dr. Wajid emphasizes the importance of preserving Islamic and moral identity, considering it a shared responsibility between educational institutions and students, given its role in building a balanced and conscious personality.
He focuses on the necessity of directing young students’ energies towards serving society and utilizing knowledge in fields of construction and reform, which is the ultimate goal of the university.
The president also praises high level of organization, which reflects a positive image of Iraqi female university students. He explains that such events represent a civilized model that keeps pace with academic and social society and prevent inappropriate behaviours.
Noting that Iraqi female students have proven their ability to combine academic success with ethical commitment, Wajid adds that Iraqi universities are now required to strengthen ethical dimension alongside academic excellence,
This ceremony aims at supporting female graduates, celebrating their academic achievements, and establishing a culture of conscious graduation that reflects authenticity of Iraqi society and its religious and cultural identity.
