University of Kerbala Discussing a Ph. D. Dissertation on the Use of Concurrent Engineering Technology in Product Design and its Impact on Enhancing Competitive Advantage

Faculty of Administration and Economics – University of Kerbala has discussed the employment of concurrent engineering technology in product design and its impact on enhancing competitive advantage – an exploratory study in men’s ready- -made clothing factory in Najaf. The dissertation aims at studying one of the contemporary intellectual and costal techniques, concurrent engineering technique, in order to demonstrate its use in product design and its impact on enhancing the competitive advantage in the men’s ready-made clothing factory in Najaf.
The thesis concludes that concurrent engineering technology can help economic activities in product design and its impact on enhancing competitive advantage, through its ability to reduce costs, improve quality, develop product, reduce time and provide flexibility in responding to consumer needs.
