College of Law / University of Kerbala has discussed the Ph.D dissertation which is entitled “civil liability arising from vaccine – a comparative study”
Being submitted by Eyad Sadiq Mu’idi, the study aims at clarifying legal foundations capable of ensuring that a person harmed by the use of the vaccine obtains his right to compensate for damage caused to him as a result of potential dangers of vaccine, as well as determining who is responsible for compensation.
The thesis concludes that foreign legislation mixing the vaccine with term medicine does not reflect desire of these legislations to combine these two terms, and despite similarity of medicine and vaccine in that they are inevitably dangerous health products, and their vital importance, there are many differences with different dimensions between them.
