University of Kerbala Discussing a PhD Dissertation on Characteristics of Manpower and Spatial Development Projects of Shrine of Imam Hussein

Faculty of Education for Human Sciences / University of Kerbala has discussed characteristics of manpower and spatial development projects for Shrine of Imam Hussein in Governorate of Karbala.
The problem of the study lies in geographical variables that explain variation in characteristics of manpower and spatial development projects of Shrine of Imam Hussein in Governorate of Karbala.
The objectives of the study are explaining characteristics of manpower and spatial development projects of Holy Shrine of Hussein in a way that contributes to determine development reality according to methodology of geography, which takes distribution, variation and spatial relations as its field.
The study concludes that there is a large discrepancy in areas where manpower resides at Shrine of Imam Hussein. The percentage of those who live in Karbala Governorate is (90.96%), while the percentage of those who live outside Holy Karbala is (9.04%) of the total manpower.
The study recommends the necessity of holding some specialized courses and technical workshops periodically for all workers at Holy Imam Hussein Shrine, each according to his specialty and type of work, in order to unify desired goals and achieve them.
