College of Medicine / University of Kerbala has discussed the study which is entitled “quality of life for caregivers of children with autism”.
The study, presented by Ratab Ahmed Raheem, aims at studying quality of life of caregivers of children with autism spectrum disorder and factors that could affect it in Karbala Governorate.
The study finds out that level of quality of life for caregivers of children with autism spectrum disorder is low in many areas. The study also concludes differences in level of quality of life among fathers and mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder attributable to variables including gender (male or female) and occupation and presence of chronic diseases.
