University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A. Thesis entitled “Effect of Adding Plantago lanceolata L. Seed Powder on Growth Performance, Physiological Traits, Immate Response of Broiler Chickens”

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled (Effect of Adding Plantago lanceolata L. Seed Powder on Growth Performance, Physiological Traits, Immate Response of Broiler Chickens”. It is presented by (Shaimaa Allawi Obaid)
The thesis aims at studying the traits that lead to increase in live body weight, feed consumption, feed conversion ratio, and evaluation of some physiological properties by testing liver enzymes, antibody titers for Newcastle disease, Kimborough disease, bursa, spleen and liver immunity.
The study includes measuring productive traits, which include weight gain, physiological traits, lipids, liver enzymes, and some immune traits for Newcastle and Kimboro disease.
The thesis discusses the conclusion which show the effect of adding plantain plant powder at a rate of 3% to broiler chickens.
