University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis entitled Imam Al-Hadi’s School and its Intellectual Dimensions

Dealing with the prophet’s household ideology, College of Education for Humanities, University of Kerbala, which is entitled ” Imam al-Hadi’s School and its Intellectual Dimensions until 260 AH/873 AD – A Historical Study”.
The study, which has been presented by Zahraa Razzaq Jaafar, consists of three chapters. The first chapter discusses Imam al-Hadi’s, features of his intellectual school, and general conditions of Islamic state. The second one explains Imam al-Hadi’s intellectual dimensions and its role in religious, scientific, and social reform of Islamic nation. The third chapter is devoted to study Imam al-Hadi’s (peace be upon him) representatives and their role in preserving legacy of Imamate and transmitting its knowledge amidst difficult political and intellectual circumstances experienced during Imam’s era.
The ends up with highlighting Imam al-Hadi’s biography, his scientific, social, and political status within framework of Ahl al-Bayt school, analyzing scientific and cognitive heritage left behind by Imam, and his contribution to confront deviant sects and intellectual heresies of his time, in addition to shed light on pivotal role played by his agents.
