University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis entitled ” Preparation and Characterization of Metal (nickel and zinc) nanofrite”

Faculty of Science University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A thesis which is entitled “Preparation and Characterization of (Nickel and Zinc) Nano-Frite Metals and Their Application in the Hemolysis Test”. It is presented by Ali Amir Abd Zaid. It includes a discussion and preparation of spinel-frite compounds in a modified manner and a study of their applications in the optical cracking of the dye as well as in the hemolysis
The aim of the thesis is preparing nickel spinel nanophrites (NiFe2O4) and zinc spinel nanophrites (ZnFe2O4) by co-precipitation method in presence of a non-ionic surfactant as a covering agent and as a mask. -NiFe2O4 by interlocking first spinel and second spinel using ultrasound technology as a simple and environmentally friendly method, as well as measuring the properties of all optical catalysts prepared using (FTIR, XRD, SEM, EDX) technology.
It shows that all the materials prepared on nanomaterials have semiconductor properties because they have a relatively small gap energy, and the ability of the prepared photocatalysts to remove the color of the alkaline blue dye is tested by studying the effect of different agents on the dye removal in the presence of samples of the photocatalysts, and they have the ability It is high in removing strong dyes and with low concentrations of the prepared photocatalysts.
The thesis recommends adjusting time, temperature, and solvent when preparing spinel using the sterilization step, different types of surfactants can be used, positive, negative, and non-polar during the preparation of the backbone to control the shape and size of its crystal, as well as the preparation of different nanostructures of metallic ferrite using other minerals. such as Mo, W, Cr.
