The Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis entitled (Removal of Crystal Violet and Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 dyes from its aqueous solutions by adsorption on Iraqi Porcelanite rocks and their axial shape”.
The discussion deals with the study of the best conditions for the removal process represented by (contact time, weight of adsorbant, pH, temperature and Ionic strength, and calculation of the thermodynamic functions of the removal process, as well as the study of adsorption isotherms and their applicability with the Langmuir and Freundlich equations.
The study emphasizes on conducting studies on a large scale for the adsorption capacity of Iraqi porcelanite rocks and their form pivotal in researching many organic and inorganic pollutants that are present in river water and wastes of refineries and factories.
