University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A. Thesis on “Evaluation of Reducing Role of Aloe vera against Hyperglycemia and Hyperlipidemia in Male Rats exposed to dexamethasone Therapy”

Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled” Evaluation of Reducing Role of Aloe vera against Hyperglycemia and Hyperlipidemia in Male Rats exposed to dexamethasone Therapy). It is prepared by Amena Muhammad Hamza.
The thesis aims at revealing how to treat the side effects of excessive use of dexamethasone, such as high fat content and high blood sugar, using the aloe vera plant.
The thesis includes measuring glucose, fat, MDA, HSP70, and ACE after exposing rats to an excessive dose of dexamethasone, and then measuring it after giving aloe vera plant and studying its effect.
The study emphasizes the necessity of not taking dexamethasone in excessive quantities due to its toxic effects, as well as using the aloe vera herb as a regulator of blood sugar levels.
