Faculty of Nursing / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled “Effectiveness of the educational programme of nurses’ knowledge regarding Neonatal Pain Management”. It is presented by Esraa Faisal Abbas to evaluate the effectiveness of educational programme of nurses’ knowledge regarding neonatal pain management.
The study concludes that the majority of participating nurses are female, school nurses, and did not participate in training courses on neonatal pain care, their experience is less than five years, the high percentage is from 20-29 years, and the programme led to a clear improvement in nurses’ knowledge regarding how to manage neonatal pain after applying the educational programme. The researcher recommends that neonatal pain should be included in nursing curricula at all educational levels.
