University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis on Preparation and Diagnosis of New Nanomaterials

College of Education for Pure Sciences / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled “Preparation and diagnosis of new nanomaterials and studying their efficiency in inhibiting corrosion of carbon steel), submitted by Ali Hassan Wadaa.
The study aims at preparing corrosion inhibitors of carbon steel in acidic media by preparing selenium nanoparticles, attaching them to polymers, and characterizing them using TEM techniques. DLS. Zeta potential. XRD. FT-IR.
The study recommends the necessity of expanding future studies and using other types of alloys, as well as using other techniques to study efficiency of nanoinhibitors, such as electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) studies.
