University of Kerbala Discussing an M.A Thesis on Transformation of Circular Random Variables based on Cardiac-warppeel Exponential Distributions

Faculty of Administration and Economics / University of Kerbala has discussed the M.A. thesis which is entitled “transformation of circular random variables based on cardiac-warppeel exponential distributions: a practical Study.
The study aims at building a new probability distribution using inverse transformation rule (transformation IDF (Inverse Document Frequency)) that would be more flexible in representing the real data of the study than the original distribution.
The study concludes that maximum likelihood method estimates (MLE) is the best method of estimating parameters of the circular spider distribution, and the best simulated model is the third model based on values of the criterion (MSE).
The thesis recommends the use of new types of composite distributions because of their flexibility and high efficiency in accurately representing this data.
